The Waterford Male Voice Choir (WMVC) is looking for a new Musical Director.

We are a group of dedicated singers, based in Waterford and surrounding areas, meeting for rehearsals weekly in Tramore, and we sing in four-part harmony. 

The choir has an extensive musical repertoire, ranging through Irish music, operatic choruses, spirituals, hymns, popular music and classical music. We are non-denominational, have a strong tradition of singing in local churches, performing at concerts, singing at competitions, traveling for festivals, as well as supporting local community groups and charities with ad hoc performances (e.g. local nursing homes).

We are seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual to lead the choir in rehearsals and performances from September 2024 onwards. The successful candidate will also be expected to respect and develop the unique ethos of the choir.
