The choir travelled to Barcelona to participate in the 7th Costa Barcelona Music Festival. During this trip, we popped along to the Camp Nou and we took in the stunning sights of spectacular Montserrat and Girona.
A 44-strong group of choristers from the Waterford Male Voice Choir secured a prestigious Silver Status award at the 30th annual Franz Schubert International Choral Competition in Vienna at the weekend.
On our trip to Rome, we had the great privilege of performing in St. Peter’s Basilica and the Irish Embassy in the Villa Spada. We also took in the sites of Pompeii, Castel Gandolfo and Montecassino.
In February 2011, 34 of us from the Waterford Male Voice Choir travelled to Krakow to visit this beautiful city, see the historic sites at Auschwitz-Birkenau and perform at two different venues in Krakow during the trip.
We travelled to Weybridge in 2009 to partake in their annual Autumn Concert. Whilst in Surrey, we also explored Eaton and Windsor and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the local hostelry The Jolly Farmer.
